Codelocks has just launched the CL1000 Cabinet Lock, a keyless electronic security device designed to eliminate the problem of lost locker keys and broken and missing locks.
The latest in the company's range for leisure facilities, the CL1000 aims to enhance access control and simplify the administration and management of lockers, changing rooms, equipment stores, offices, IT facilities and sports halls for staff, customers and facilities managers.
The lock, which can be retro-fitted on existing cam locks or lockers which currently don't have a locking mechanism, can be set for use by multiple or single users.
It features three programme levels: Master Code, Sub-Master Code and User Code.
Master allows management to programme and set the lock into either of its two modes of operation. The default mode is Multiple User Code which allows the lock to be used repeatedly with the User Code, ideal for individual users on staff lockers.
The second mode is One-Time User Code - or Locker - mode. This offers a single-use code setting facility, for single opening by an individual user. The codes are then erased, to be reset by the next user.
Up to 10,000 four-digit User Codes are available.
