Hotel group, Best Western, has added the Weald Park hotel in Essex to its property portfolio.
Built in 1738, the three-star hotel is set in 150 acres of parkland and facilities include an 18-hole golf course.
The recently refurbished property includes conference facilities for up to 50 people and a restaurant.
Keith Pope, director of membership services, said: “Hotels join Best Western to benefit from being associated with a well-known brand.”
The Weald Park hotel currently has 20 bedrooms but is looking to add another 12 before the end of the year.
Best Western operates over 4,000 hotels in 80 different countries worldwide – including a 300-strong estate in the UK.
