Kaleidoskop Kultiplexx, a new family enterainment centre, has opened in the Prater in Vienna, one of the world's oldest operating amusement parks. The £3m interactive centre offers a mix of workshops, shows, interactive games and a simulation threatre. Visitors to the kultiplexx are greeted by Kaleido, a talking robot, who guides them through the centres six cavens where a variety of interactive workshops are held. Children can listen to the stories of the Brothers Grimm and Hans Anderson in the Fairy Tale Cavern, learn clowning and juggling in the Circus Cavern and master the magical arts in the Magic Cavern. The other themed rooms include the Music Cavern, Media Caverns and the New Games Cavern. Consultants Martin Schwarz developed the concept for the centre which will host cabaret and music performances in the Show Theatre at night. The theatre can cater for up to 200 people and can also be hired for private functions.
