Technogym has expanded its innovative Skill range with the launch of the SkillBike.
Designed for performance and athletic training, the SkillBike is the first indoor bike to feature real gear shift technology, a patent that allows users to experience the dynamics of hill riding, simply by shifting gears.
The design of the bike mimics the biomechanics of an outdoor cycles, with an ergonomically designed frame and handlebar that can accomodate different riding styles and positions.
Other features include a road effect system that is designed to replicate the feeling of outdoor riding, and multidrive technology which enables riders to effortlessly switch between training modes.
The bike also includes a number of integrated training programmes that can be tailored to the user's needs and fitness goals.
In addition, the bike has an interactive interface that offers users feedback and enables them to track performance.
